My Story

I am Rashmi Kate, the founder of “Raaga Reprise” and I believe that music is a cohesive force that helps bring diverse communities together.

I am a die-hard vocal artist who has mastered the art of singing whilst dancing. My repertoire spans to a wide range of music genres from Indian styles including Filmi, Indie Pop, and American pop, ensuring that music resonates with the audience from various generations. I sing a variety of songs such as semi-classical, Bollywood rock, pop, EDM, ghazals, garbas, and devotionals, in various languages. At a tender age I have won the All India level music competition, and after migrating to United States for further studies, I have attained several music awards. I've performed at various concerts in the Midwest as well as East Coast in United States, and I've received numerous accolades for my musical contributions within South Asian community. My music is my message, and I believe it has the power to bring us all closer. In a world that can feel divided, music is a universal language that speaks to our souls. Each note is an offering, a way to reach out and touch the hearts of everyone who listens. I sing for a purpose that goes beyond performance, it’s for healing, for connection, and as a way to serve the community.
